I Accidentally Triggered the CEO’s Heartbeat Signal

Lin Xiaoxing, a design assistant with severe social anxiety, spills coffee on the custom suit of Lu Chengyu, the company’s notorious “living King of Hell,” on her very first day at work. She expects to be fired on the spot, but an unexpectedly well-matched preliminary design earns her a “binding” as the sharp-tongued CEO’s personal assistant. One is so afraid of socializing she wishes she could vanish on the spot; the other can insult people so effectively he leaves even clients speechless. As they muddle through one workplace fiasco after another, they go from rubbing each other the wrong way to gradually discovering each other’s softer sides. Lin Xiaoxing realizes that behind Lu Chengyu’s biting tongue lie exceptional professionalism and a loneliness he keeps hidden, while Lu Chengyu is moved by the talent and sincerity Lin Xiaoxing conceals beneath her socially anxious exterior. With workplace sabotage, a persistent ex, and family pressures piling up, can this “socially anxious girl x sharp-tongued boss” duo break down the walls between them, send sparks flying in each other’s worlds, and ultimately choose one another?
