The Top-Tier Star Is Chasing His Wife on Livestream

Shen Xingran is the entertainment industry's undisputed top-tier star and award-winning actor, with both looks and talent to spare. Yet childhood trauma has made him fiercely averse to getting close to anyone, and the whole internet knows him as "cold and abstinent" and "never interested in women." Lin Xiaotang is a cheerful home cook with a modest following on a food platform. Her food tastes great, but her livestreams are a different story: she either forgets the seasoning or sends her spatula flying. Her fans call it "a kitchen disaster that's somehow still appetizing." During a joint livestream hosted by the platform, a technical glitch unexpectedly connects the two. Shen Xingran watches Lin Xiaotang burn sweet-and-sour pork ribs until they're pitch black, then solemnly call them "an improved, extra-charred version." He struggles to hold back a laugh, and his icy expression goes viral. Who knew this would be the start of their connection? Shen Xingran discovers that Lin Xiaotang's home cooking tastes like the warmest memories of his childhood. Meanwhile, Lin Xiaotang gradually sees through his "cold" facade and discovers that this top-tier star is afraid of the dark, has no sense of direction, and secretly loves sweets. As they keep stumbling into one hilarious encounter after another, they fall for each other. But misunderstandings between their parents' generation, obsessive sasaeng fans, and sabotage from rivals stand in their way. When the top-tier star drops his guard and openly courts her on a livestream, the whole internet erupts: "Bro, get a grip! She's a kitchen menace!" "I'm shipping them! The abstinent actor × the clueless cook, what a heavenly romance!" Can they overcome prejudice and clear up the misunderstandings, so their love can be as warm and lasting as home cooking?
