Top-Tier Star Movie Emperor: My Assistant Is an Absolute Badass

Lin Weixi is a self-taught genius in AI, renowned in the industry for her astounding programming skills. But after refusing to let capital tie her down, her former employer freezes her out. With nowhere else to turn, she stumbles into a job as private assistant to Lu Shiyan, a top-tier star and movie emperor. Little does she know that this “serving tea and running errands” job really means acting as a mobile AI think tank for a man who is completely hopeless with technology. Lu Shiyan is an unrivaled top-tier star in the entertainment industry, with both looks and acting chops, yet he’s a total tech novice who can’t even use split-screen on his phone. Netizens call him a “prehistoric creature.” When a hardcore tech nerd meets a top-tier star who can’t manage daily life on his own, Lin Weixi uses AI programs to help him track obsessive fans, counter online attacks and manage public opinion, and even catch logical flaws in scripts. With each rescue, Lu Shiyan discovers that his seemingly aloof assistant is not only brilliant, but also has a softer side she keeps hidden. One is a “rebellious genius” trying to pursue technology in the cracks of the entertainment industry; the other is a star swept along by the tides of fame, longing for sincerity. From mutual dislike to relying on each other, they face the machinations of capital and workplace infighting amid their chaotic partnership, ultimately finding sweet, mutual redemption and setting off a “technological revolution” in the entertainment industry along the way.
