Top-Tier Starlet: My Esports God Is My Childhood Friend

Su Wanxing is widely recognized as the entertainment industry's top-tier star. Her looks and acting skills are both legendary, but a variety show that teamed her up with esports players completely exposed her weaknesses. Not only did she reveal that she had no sense of direction, she could barely even use a keyboard. Netizens joked, “The final destination for a top-tier star is becoming an esports noob.” But no one knew that what she feared most wasn't losing fans. It was Lu Zhizhou, the owner of Xingtu Club, the show's partner: her childhood friend who had stolen her candy, left her out in the rain, and then disappeared without a word.

After their reunion, Lu Zhizhou became a cool and distant instructor, going hard on her during training. In private, though, he quietly cleared away obstacles for her in the entertainment industry. When she was smeared online, he even called on his connections throughout the esports scene to stand up for her.

Su Wanxing puffed out her cheeks. “Lu Zhizhou, are you picking fights with me on purpose?” Lu Zhizhou tapped his fingers on the keyboard. On the screen was a crooked portrait she'd drawn of the two of them years ago. “Picking fights? I just want to bring the little girl who wandered off back to my side.”

When a top-tier star and a legendary esports player meet again, their childhood misunderstanding is gradually cleared up, and their mutual secret crush turns into a sweet romance. “Su Wanxing, esports takes talent, but loving you is instinct.” “Lu Zhizhou, then I'll do you the favor of playing games with you for the rest of our lives, and staying the leading lady forever.”
