Jiangning Coroner

During the Yuanxi era, Shen Qingjun, chief coroner of Jiangning Prefecture, discovers evidence during a routine autopsy that matches the proof from her father’s wrongful death case eleven years earlier. To uncover the truth, she has no choice but to join forces with Gu Yunzhou, a fallen nobleman skilled in political maneuvering. One works in the open, the other in the shadows; one follows the law, the other navigates politics. Together, amid the shifting currents of court and martial society, they clear away the fog and challenge the powerful. In the end, they not only clear the names of the wronged, but also defend the foundations of law and justice.
