Text-Based Abandoned Server: I Alone Guard the Classic Wuxia World

Chen Nian, a 38-year-old convenience store night-shift worker, has been numbed by the grind of life. Then, by chance, he enters Peking University's Beida Swordsman MUD, which shut down 27 years ago!

Beida Street is deserted, East Street is left with nothing but lifeless NPCs, and Baixiaosheng at the Zuixian Tavern is frozen in time, repeating his old lines. He's the only player on the entire server!

The monsters he couldn't beat back then? Now he crushes them with ease.

The Baixiaosheng quests he never finished? Now he gets the server's only, long-out-of-print rewards all to himself.

In real life, he's an insignificant wage slave. In the game, he's the one and only big shot ruling over a lost martial arts world!

Reality and illusion cycle endlessly as he explores every inch of the abandoned server's old lands.

What he's guarding isn't an empty martial world. It's the swordsman's dream he never fulfilled as a boy!
