Rule Horror Begins at the Fishpond

Rulebound Fishing Grounds: A Life-Bait Game

This is a rule-based horror game where human lives are the bait. The twenty rules of Zhao's Fishing Grounds are a tangled mix of truth and lies: “You can kneel before the boss and beg him to take you in as his adopted child” is a deadly trap; “The young master has a terrible temper, so don't approach him” is a hard-and-fast rule for survival; and “Lili is the young master's greatest taboo” is an absolute red line.

Challengers Zhou Ye, Li Jianguo, and others are forced into the game. They must catch a specified number of fish to escape, but face monsters with multiple heads that devour their prey, unknown creatures lurking underwater that drag people down, and the struggle between “humanity” and “survival.” When the will of the world announces that “the loved ones of those eliminated will also be implicated,” and new rules and mysterious figures appear one after another, including bait sellers, groundskeepers, and tourists in disguise, every misinterpretation of a rule and every loss of emotional control could spark a fatal disaster.

The owner of the fishing grounds, Zhao Peng, wields the rules like a knife and takes pleasure in the challengers' despair. In secret, he is also weaving a “paradise” of his own. Here, fishing is never a pastime. It is the ultimate game, with your life on the line.
