The Ultimate Strategist System: Joining Liu Bei at Hulao Pass

Three Kingdoms: The Strongest Strategist System Helps Me Revive the Han

(This is not a strictly historical novel. Feel free to read it as fan fiction. Thank you for understanding.)

When Zhao Peng, a researcher who has spent ten years studying the history of the Three Kingdoms, opens his eyes, he finds himself a destitute county magistrate on the border of Bingzhou, just as eighteen warlords are gathering to campaign against Dong Zhuo! A die-hard Shu Han fan, he promptly sells off the county office and borrows from every local gentry family. With 250 taels of silver and the Strongest Strategist System, he sets out to join Liu Bei, accompanied by his only constable, Li Si.

After a long, difficult journey, selling his horse for food and getting robbed by stragglers, he finally reaches Hulao Pass in rags, looking like a beggar. When he first meets Zhang Fei, he is mistaken for a spy, but Liu Bei steps in to protect him during the argument. Faced with Liu Bei's kind offer to take him in, he asks, “What does benevolence mean?” His unique insight, “Do great good, rather than small acts of kindness,” earns Liu Bei's admiration, and he takes his first step toward becoming Liu Bei's aide.

The System lets him trade points for extra years of life and seek immortality. Memories from his transmigration allow him to foresee the course of battles. Watch as this former county magistrate uses his two powerful advantages to make his mark at Hulao Pass, help Liu Bei escape the indignity of living at another's mercy, and gradually turn history's regrets around. On the Three Kingdoms stage, where heroes vie for supremacy, he will raise the banner of restoring the Han!
