The Gene Sequence: I Am a God-Tier Sequence

Also known as Biopunk: The Apocalypse Is Here

In the 2058th year of the Yanlong Empire, biotechnology rules the world in a grotesquely distorted form. There are no fantasies of interstellar voyages, only a rigid hierarchy determined by genetic sequence. Sequence 0 commoners struggle to survive in the slums; Sequence 1 citizens must wager their entire fortunes, while everything from Sequence 2 upward is a privilege reserved for the wealthy. The supreme Ninth Sequence is a realm of legend.

Zhao Peng, a transmigrator, has barely arrived in this “biopunk hell” when he finds himself holding a god-tier genetic serum given to him by the System. With a 99.99% fatality rate and soul-rending agony as his body is torn apart and remade, this is his only chance to escape the fate of being a lowly Sequence 0 nobody.

The moment he bites through the glass vial, silver scales break through his skin and fleshy wings begin to sprout. As his gene chain finishes restructuring, the System displays “Unknown Sequence,” shattering the Empire’s established rules once and for all. From a leaking alloy shack in the slums to the battlefields where the sequences clash, Zhao Peng possesses potential far beyond the Ninth Sequence. On this land where genes reign supreme, he will carve out an unstoppable path to a “God-tier Sequence.”
