Sixth Master Descends the Mountain, and the Six Realms Are in Turmoil

Zhang Nanzhu is an orphan whom his master picked up from a mysterious place, three feet across, where rain never falls. He possesses heaven-defying talent and the nature of a scheming old fox. After his master kicks him down the mountain, he is forced to wander through the strange and wondrous Six Realms. He tricks mortals, toys with ghosts and gods, becomes sworn brothers with a foolish ox demon, and gets entangled with a fiery demoness. Then one day, his master fights a ferocious beast to the death in a forbidden land to protect all living beings, until his strength is spent and his life burns out. In that moment, the boy who had laughed and cursed his way through life grows up overnight. He draws on the strengths of every corner of the Six Realms, creates supreme divine powers of his own, and swears to use the beast’s blood to honor his master. But after avenging his master and retreating into mortal life with his beloved, he discovers that the mystery of his own origins has long been closely tied to the greatest upheaval in the Six Realms.
