The Legend of Lao Liu: Ninth Master Has Arrived

Wuwei Daoist, the greatest man on the Tianxuan Continent, had cultivated the Dao for a thousand years and calculated the secrets of heaven. Yet one thing troubled him: fate said he would have nine disciples, but the ninth never came.

One snowy, windswept night, the old man found an abandoned baby in a dilapidated temple in the wilderness. He took him as his ninth disciple and named him Ye Linfeng.

This young junior brother had heaven-defying talent and astonishing insight, a darling of the Heavenly Dao unseen in ten thousand ages. But he was also the sect's greatest menace in a century! Spoiled by his master's doting affection and his senior brothers' and sisters' indulgence, Ye Linfeng turned life in the sect into one chaotic spectacle after another... He earned the nickname “the sect's little tyrant, supreme beneath heaven and above earth.”

On his travels, he took “recklessness” and “sneakiness” to the extreme. If he could win, he'd beat his opponent until they were bawling for their parents. If he couldn't, he'd hide in the shadows and strike dirty, a thoroughly underhanded schemer in the cultivation world.

He became sworn brothers with a stubborn demon-clan powerhouse, captured the heart of the devil clan's willful little princess, and even tricked a Buddhist holy son into visiting a brothel to see the world.

Before long, the cultivation world was up in arms, and the major factions banded together to storm the mountain and demand an explanation.

Wuwei Daoist stood before the mountain gate with a broom in hand. He glared and puffed out his beard.

“My disciples beating you is a compliment! If any of you disagree, come up here and face this old Daoist!”

But then true calamity descended: immortals came down from the Nine Heavens to reap the mortal world.

His master held off ten opponents at once and gave his life for the Dao. The sect was destroyed, and his senior brothers and sisters stained the sky with their blood, giving their lives to clear a path for him to escape.

Amid blood and tears, the boy awakened a heaven-defying bloodline. In his hand was the ancient demonic weapon Soul-Devouring Spear, and at his side stood his sworn brother, the cultivation world's wealthiest man.
