A Brief Explanation of the Huayan Sutra

"A Brief Interpretation of the Huayan Sutra" is a modern annotation that systematically interprets the "Huayan Sutra" written by Master Cheng Guan of the Tang Dynasty. The eighty-volume "Huayan Sutra Shuchao" written by Master Chengguan is the culmination of the Huayan Sect's collection. It integrates the meaning of the sutra and explains the contemplation and practice in depth. However, the meaning of its text is profound and broad, and many people today are amazed when they study it. This book is based on the principle of "interpreting the ancients based on the ancients and interpreting the classics based on the classics". On the basis of strictly following the original purpose of clear reading, this book analyzes chapters and sentences, and proposes a program. Through the three approaches of "scientific judgment and positioning", "disclosure of principles and principles" and "contemplation and practice guidance", it transforms the profound meaning of the text into a practice guide that modern scholars can understand. Each volume is divided into three to five chapters, and each chapter is divided into three sections: "Chapter Purpose", "Explanation of the Original Text", and "Guanxin Essentials", supplemented by empirical cases and diagrams to enable readers to proceed step by step and gain a glimpse of the secrets of the Huayan Sea of Nature.
