My Client Is My Ex

Yan Ning's startup project brings her face-to-face with top investor Wen Jingzhou. He is also the ex who left without a word five years ago. At the negotiating table, he handles things strictly as business, tearing apart the proposal she painstakingly prepared and declaring it worthless. Everyone says Wen Jingzhou has come back for revenge. Only one late night, as she works overtime, does Yan Ning see him leaning wearily against her office doorway. His voice hoarse, he says, “A Ning, I wasn't criticizing the project. I was criticizing the man I used to be, the one who didn't deserve you.”
