His Shadow Is Kissing Me

Jiang Wu has an embarrassing supernatural ability:

When she cries, torrential rain pours over the whole city;

When she smiles, withered trees bloom again for miles around;

But when she falls for someone, her shadow runs away.

Late at night, her shadow slipped off to knock on the neighbor’s window again.

A man’s fingers, stained with engine oil, suddenly yanked open the curtains. Her shadow was on tiptoe, secretly kissing his window frame.

“Number 108.” Shen Xi’s wrench clamped around the shadow’s throat. “Miss Jiang, if you can’t control your shadow… want me to weld it shut for you?”

The day the Supernatural Affairs Bureau launched its raid, her shadow charged into the enemy ranks with a bomb strapped to it.

Shen Xi caught the dark shape in midair, then shoved the detonator into her hand. “If we’re going to die, we’ll die together.”

She pressed the button

The tattoo on his back suddenly burst into flames. It was the totem of a hundred years’ worth of kisses from her shadow!
