The Laughing Hero of the Martial World: An Unconventional Master

Li Xiaodao is a street vendor who dreams of becoming a great hero, but his mediocre martial arts skills leave him with no choice but to make a living selling grilled skewers. One day, he unexpectedly saves a mysterious old man, who rewards him with an utterly unconventional martial arts manual: The Unorthodox Legend of the Smiling, Proud Wanderer. From then on, Li Xiaodao embarks on a laughably absurd journey through the martial world. With his signature “skewer-throwing flying daggers” and a gift for talking people to death, he accidentally becomes the martial world’s “comic hero.” But as his fame grows, trouble follows close behind: the leader of the Martial Alliance wants him as a son-in-law, the cult leader wants him as a disciple, and even the martial world’s greatest beauty starts looking at him in a new light. While dealing with one ridiculous situation after another, Li Xiaodao searches for the truth behind the manual. This is a hilarious, adventure-filled martial arts journey, as well as a legendary tale of dreams and growing up.
