The Eternal Song of Song Jin: The Peach-Blossom Emperor with Two Souls in One Body

Lin Jin, a genius of the twenty-fifth century, is shot dead after publicly revealing the “Abyss Algorithm,” which threatens the interests of the powerful. By chance, he forms a quantum resonance with Zhao Heng, an eight-year-old prince of the Qi Dynasty on the brink of death. The two become “one body with two souls” and face a fictional age of chaos together.

When Yong'an City falls and the iron hooves of the Shuo Desert crush the land of the Qi Dynasty, Zhao Heng (Lin Jin) leads the remnants of his forces on the run. As plague ravages the sea, they build a lifeline with herbs and ingenuity. When the Shuo Desert navy closes in, they turn to fire attacks, sea mines, and the terrain to strike back against all odds. The royal prince Yong secretly harbors treasonous ambitions and colludes with foreign enemies, forcing them to tread carefully through a web of political intrigue.

Lin Jin guides Zhao Heng with knowledge from another era: purifying water, making firearms, issuing bonds, and establishing a disease-prevention system. He turns the “fires of commerce” into “beacons of war,” using economics to break the deadlock. Meanwhile, through war and betrayal, Zhao Heng sheds his childishness, growing from a boy dependent on his “big brother” into a ruler capable of making decisive choices and protecting his people.

From the life-and-death struggle in the waters known as “Ghost's Lament” to the bloody defense of Guangzhou and finally the ultimate sacrifice of “Sparks Set the Sea Ablaze,” the two souls bring out the best in each other through their shared existence. Lin Jin burns away his consciousness to give them a chance at survival. Carrying on Lin Jin's wishes, Zhao Heng rebuilds the Qi Dynasty from the ruins, pledging himself with peach blossoms and taking the people's hearts as his seal. The spark from another world becomes an eternal light across the heavens, as he writes a new chapter in the legend of the Great Qi reborn.
