A Journey Through the City of Spirit Energy

Shen Yan clutched the burning Heavenfire Gauntlet as he rushed out of the dormitory, just as he ran into Luo Qingyuan, who was wielding a Frostfall Staff. Jiangcheng’s spirit-energy alarm was tearing through the night sky, while dark baleful energy devoured the city’s martial veins at their core.

Thirty years after the spiritual qi revival, evil beings beneath the surface had finally broken through their seal. A tide of evil, made up of hundreds of Dark Martial Apprentices, swept through the streets. An A-rank Soul-Devouring Martial Venerable controlled a domain that drained martial artists of their life force, and even the Alliance’s detection devices had completely failed. Shen Yan, once written off as having a “crippled meridian,” unexpectedly awakened the power of Heavenfire, which could burn away all evil. Luo Qingyuan’s Frostfall spiritual energy could purify baleful energy and heal injuries. The resonance between their two meridians became the key to turning the tide.

From destroying Dark Martial Altars to stopping the evil tide from surrounding the city, from exposing Gao Jun’s schemes to uncovering a sacrificial summoning array, they fought side by side with divine weapons in hand. As the city’s protective barrier crumbled and even more powerful evil beings were about to be summoned, the young man and woman had only one choice: wear their spiritual energy as armor, and protect millions of lives with their fists and staff, forging a legendary path to Martial Sainthood through blood and fire!
