Spring Breeze in His Coat

In an old alley in late autumn, Lin Wei huddles by a flower shop, drenched by the rain. Chen Yu drapes his still-warm coat over her shoulders. A Polaroid slips from its pocket, showing a clump of daisies by the river that her mother often visited when she was alive. This chance encounter brings them together: Lin Wei helps Chen Yu sort through old photos of his younger sister, while Chen Yu helps Lin Wei find the daisy seeds her mother left behind. Mints tucked inside the old coat, warm moments captured on camera, and the dim yellow streetlamp at the mouth of the alley gradually melt the ice in their hearts. At last, they understand that some encounters are no accident. They are like a spring breeze passing through winter, giving each other the courage to begin again.
