The Urban Martial Saint

Lu Chen and Ye Qinghan were once nobodies in Canglan City. He was a former sect prodigy whose martial meridians had been damaged, scraping by as a construction worker and unable to perform even basic fist techniques properly. She was an apprentice at an herbal medicine shop, told she would never practice martial arts in her life. In a city crawling with dark martial artists, she could only hide under the Martial Arts Association's protection to survive.

Then a black martial aura engulfed the city, and the S-rank dark martial artist Shadow Fiend broke through the protective barrier. As death closed in, the dormant Chaos Martial Meridian in Lu Chen's body suddenly awakened, and one punch shattered the dark martial artist's protective energy. Ye Qinghan gripped her ancestral Azure Mystic Jade Pendant and awakened healing martial arts, dispersing the dark aura with a single palm strike.

The two castoffs made a stunning comeback overnight, only to discover an even bigger conspiracy behind the aura: a dark martial altar lay buried beneath Canglan City, and even the Martial Arts Association's top brass were secretly feeding human martial essence to dark creatures! “I'll break the darkness with my Chaos power, and you'll protect the people with your healing arts!” Together, they set out to defend the city, fighting demons in the streets and venturing deep into the altar. With the power of martial arts, they tear through the darkness and become the “Twin Martial Saints of the City,” renowned throughout Canglan City!
