The City’s Holy Demon Slayer

Lu Chen and Su Qingyue were the most ordinary people in Jiangcheng. He was a “crippled martial arts apprentice” with damaged spiritual meridians, unable to even complete the basic technique for slaying evil. She was a restorer of ancient books, labeled as having “no sacred roots,” forced to eke out a living in a city overrun with evil spirits under the protection of the Sacred Martial Alliance.

Then blood-red miasma engulfed Jiangcheng, and the S-rank evil creature Soul-Devouring Ghost General broke through the sacred barrier. As Lu Chen lay dying, the dormant “Evil-Slaying Sacred Meridian” within him suddenly awakened, and one slash split the creature's soul core. When Su Qingyue touched her ancestral “Ancient Clear Moon Mirror,” her sacred eyes awakened, allowing her to see an evil creature's weakness at a glance.

The two former outsiders made a sudden comeback, only to discover an even greater conspiracy behind the miasma: an altar of the evil clans lay buried beneath Jiangcheng, and even the upper ranks of the Sacred Martial Alliance were secretly feeding human spiritual meridians to evil creatures! “With my sacred blade, I'll slay all evil. With your sacred eyes, we'll expose every scheme!” Together, they set out to fight evil, progressing from clearing spirits in the streets to infiltrating the altar. Using the power of their sacred meridians to tear through the darkness, they ultimately become the renowned “Twin Sages of Evil-Slaying,” known throughout Jiangcheng!
