Spirit Power Guards Jiangcheng

Lu Yan’s thunder-element power had barely blasted apart the puppet when Su Qingyue’s ice-element core froze the evil spirit’s escape route. The spirit-energy seal over Jiangcheng was weakening. Soul-devouring vines crawled through the subway tunnels, twisted ghostly shadows appeared in office-building windows, and even the riverbank was shrouded in ghostly mist that fed on living souls.

As awakened spirit-energy users, Lu Yan can summon heavenly thunder to smite evil, while Su Qingyue can conjure ice shields to protect people. When blood-red warnings proclaiming “The seal is about to break” appeared across the city, the two discovered that only a resonance between their thunder and ice powers could stop the evil spirits from devouring Jiangcheng’s very source of spirit energy.

From deadly battles in an underground spirit-energy laboratory to the final stand at the seal tower in the middle of the river, they wield their powers as blades and venture through the night. Their resolve cannot be bound by vines, so they cut through them with lightning. Their hope cannot be obscured by ghostly mist, so they illuminate the darkness with ice.

This is a battle of redemption, fought with spirit energy to protect the city. Every ripple of power proclaims: We spirit-energy users will keep Jiangcheng safe and protect the lights in every home. We will not take a single step back!
