The City's Evil-Banishing Path

Chen Yan and Su Qingyuan never imagined that beneath the neon-lit city lurked sinister shadows that devoured people.

Medical student Chen Yan unexpectedly awakens the ancestral Record of Exorcism, granting him the ability to perceive yin and yang and identify demons. Su Qingyuan, heir to a prominent clan, bears an ancient spiritual meridian but is afflicted by a strange curse. The two meet through a “midnight bus disappearance case,” only to stumble upon the shocking secrets behind the city's urban legends. An evil spirit sealed a century ago is reviving on modern-day resentment. Office building mirrors conceal face-swapping monsters, and popular photo spots are actually soul-devouring altars.

With the Record of Exorcism, Chen Yan unlocks talismans and formations, while Su Qingyuan channels ancient martial arts through her spiritual meridian. Together, they sweep through subway fiends and mall phantoms. But as their investigation deepens, they discover that the source of the evil spirits is closely tied to the Su family's history and the mystery of Chen Yan's origins.

When the blood moon shrouds the city and all manner of evil emerges, can this young man and woman, though only ordinary mortals, uphold the city's last spiritual barrier?
