I, Judge of Memories

In Liuguang City, where steam and spirit dust mingle, memories are both a fortune and a curse.

Lu Yan is a master “memory weaver.” His work takes him into the lingering memories of the dead to uncover buried truths. He has seen humanity at its ugliest, and his heart has long been as frozen as a lake in winter. Then a bizarre death case leaves behind a “blank”: the victim’s memories have not been altered, but completely devoured by a previously unknown “void.”

To pursue this void, he ventures into the city’s darkest lower district, where he unexpectedly meets Evelyn, a girl who burns like a flame. She is willing to make an enemy of the entire world to find her missing sister.

Two threads of fate intertwine. From filthy alleys choked with steam to aerial corridors lined with interlocking gears, they discover that behind the void devouring memories lies a terrifying conspiracy to erase the emotions and individuality of everyone in the city: the “Silence Protocol.”

As the memories of their loved ones and the soul of the city are about to be formatted into perfect order, Lu Yan must choose: remain a numb bystander, or rekindle the embers within himself and embrace the pain, joy, and love that define what it means to be human.

Yet neither of them knows that in this war between memory and the void, what they are fighting may be only the prelude to something far greater…
