A Grandparent and Grandchild Gather Memories from the Sea

Lao Mo, the gravekeeper in the back hills of Qingyun Sect, is an oddity among the sect's cultivators, his spiritual root all but exhausted. A century of cultivation has brought him no progress. The only thing he treasures is the mottled Sea of Memories Pearl, a keepsake left by his daughter, who died young. No one knows that half of a Canghai Talisman is hidden inside the pearl, or that the orphan he raised, Mo Chen, is the last heir of the ancient Canghai Clan.

When a demonic tide strikes, Lao Mo is mortally wounded protecting Mo Chen. His blood soaks the Sea of Memories Pearl, awakening the remnant soul of the Canghai Clan. The Seashell-Picking Canghai Art floods the minds of both grandfather and grandson. From then on, Lao Mo uses the pearl as his guide and memories as his blade, rekindling his path to immortality despite his withered spiritual root. Mo Chen harnesses water with seashells and commands the tides with their roar, taking on demonic cultivators in his young body.

The elders of the immortal sect laugh and call them both useless? Lao Mo swings the pearl to summon the tides, hardening fragmentary memories into a shield that withstands immortal swords. Demons covet the power of the Canghai Clan and ambush them? Mo Chen turns an ocean eye into a formation, unleashing a thousand waves to sweep away the demon camp. When the Sea of Memories Pearl reveals the phantom image of the “Twin Souls of Canghai,” the grandfather and grandson finally understand: this journey to immortality is bound together by memories, and it is also the return of Canghai. Watch as they wield the pearl, set sail on memories, and follow the seashells' trail to subdue the vast heavens!
