Spring Blossoms in Erlong Lake Village

When Zhang Hao learns that the provincial tourism development conference is being held, he ignores the villagers’ objections and heads there with the “Er Long Lake Tourism Plan” he put together overnight. To attract attention, he hypes Er Long Lake as the “Disneyland of the Northeast.” Huang Yongquan, a wealthy and glamorous CEO attending the event, is captivated by his pitch and expresses interest in investing. The production crew also decides to follow Er Long Lake’s progress. Overjoyed, Zhang Hao returns to the village and announces the good news, only to be met with skepticism from most of the villagers. The crew arrives for the surprise inspection as agreed, but what they find is Er Long Lake’s shabby rural infrastructure, a far cry from the “Disneyland of the Northeast” Zhang Hao described at the conference. Embarrassed in front of the cameras, Zhang Hao has no choice but to promise that he will turn Er Long Lake into a true tourist destination within three months. He also proposes the “Corn Plan”: using the locally abundant corn to build a rural tourism project featuring farming experiences and folk performances. But one problem after another crops up, from a lack of funding to the villagers’ doubts. Meanwhile, Li Minghan, his dream girl, and Huang Yongquan, the wealthy CEO, wage a fierce battle for Zhang Hao’s affections. Zhang Hao’s grandfather, Zhang Chunsheng, also secretly meddles in his grandson’s love life. Meanwhile, the old man himself falls for Zhong Yun, a member of the yangge dance troupe, setting off a string of farcical mishaps…
