The Great Feng Dynasty's New Records of Jiaxuan

The Great Feng Dynasty follows a system in which women hold power and men are subordinate. Its social hierarchy is ordered “farmers, merchants, artisans, scholars,” with farmers holding the highest status, a striking contrast to traditional feudal society. This book explores class divisions and personal growth in a society where women are dominant.
