He Killed His Wife for Me

Three years after my death, I suddenly came back to life. No flesh, no memories, just a wisp of a lingering soul.

I was trapped by Huo Lin day after day, watching him dote on his wife.

Until one day, while sorting through old belongings, his wife came across a photograph of me.

She laughed and asked casually,

"Who's this girl?"

Huo Lin answered flippantly, tossing the photo into the trash,

"A dead woman. Was her name Ruan Zhizhi? I've almost forgotten her."

I froze.

So my name was Ruan Zhizhi, and I was an ex-wife he'd forgotten.

But that very night, I saw Huo Lin secretly drugging his wife.

In the reflection in the glass, my eyes met his.

He asked me,

"Zhizhi, did you see that? I'm getting revenge for you."
