Whimsy in the City’s Rifts

Set in a modern metropolis, this story follows several protagonists. One inexplicable anomaly after another occurs throughout the city: time briefly goes haywire, anonymous letters force people to make life-changing choices, strangers become linked by mysteries, people suffer sudden memory loss, and social networks spiral out of control. Each protagonist is pushed to a crossroads in life by these bizarre events and their own circumstances. The story unfolds along multiple parallel plotlines, with each volume focusing on one central character and one extraordinary event. The threads gradually converge, revealing the hidden truth behind the city. As they face these intrusions into everyday life, the characters struggle to find their footing between reality and fantasy, morality and desire, reason and breakdown. In the end, all the main plotlines converge on the city’s central mystery: can the boundary between reality and perception be broken?
