My Life: A New Limited-Time Profession Every Week

After his boss made him another empty promise for the Nth time, modern-day overworked office drone Song Qian unexpectedly gets bound to the “Three Hundred and Sixty Trades, Every One Could Kill You” Career Experience System.

[Ding! This week’s career: funeral director. Mission: Give a “special” client the most dignified funeral possible. Failure penalty: Run naked through the city-center plaza while singing “Praying to Buddha.”]

Song Qian: “...I choose death.”

System: “Sorry, death can’t unbind you from this System, dear.”

From then on, Song Qian is forced into a fantastical life of starting a new job every week. One moment he is a top chef tossing food in a Michelin-starred kitchen; the next, he might be practicing the family trade of applying protective film beneath an overpass. As he outwits his unreliable System and completes all kinds of bizarre missions, he not only acquires a whole range of seemingly “useless” skills, but also accidentally gets drawn into a secret world made up of System Hosts. When hidden dangers come to light, can this once-aimless office drone use his collection of odd-job skills to change the fate of the entire world?
