The Capsule of Youth

When Lin Zhixia, a city office worker, attends the anniversary celebration at her old high school, she unexpectedly unearths a “youth time capsule” she buried with a close friend ten years ago. It should have held childish wish notes, but inside is an unsigned letter. It reveals a secret known only to her and her late friend, and hints that her friend's “accident” all those years ago was no accident.

From then on, Lin Zhixia's peaceful routine is shattered. Unfamiliar traces keep appearing at home, anonymous warning texts arrive on her phone, and former classmates avert their eyes whenever the past comes up. She pretends to carry on with work and life as usual while secretly following the clues. In office towers, old neighborhoods, and reunions with classmates, she pieces together the truth that was covered up, gradually discovering that the time capsule holds a deadly mystery intertwined with her youth.
