The Sage of Letters Reaches the Heavens

Synopsis of The Literary Sage Reaches the Heavens

Vast literary energy spans the cosmos; the way of the sages reshapes Heaven and Earth.

Wen Xiang was a prodigy with encyclopedic knowledge of Chinese civilization. He oversaw the capital’s library and possessed learning that encompassed Heaven and humanity, yet his life was nearing its end. An unexpected car accident brought him, carrying five thousand years of Chinese civilization, reborn into the Great Primordial World as a sixteen-year-old boy named Wen Xiang in Wen Family Village, in the Great Wilderness.

The human race in this world has a weak innate foundation and is threatened by demonic cultivators from the Demon Abyss, the ghost clans of the planet’s core, and the monstrous beasts of the Great Wilderness. All people can do is lament their helplessness. Scholars cultivate literary energy, using upright hearts and sincere intentions to draw upon the world’s literary talent, temper their bodies, and rise through the ranks: Confucian Scholar, Child Scholar, Licentiate, Provincial Graduate, and Metropolitan Graduate, followed by Zhuangyuan, Hanlin Academician, and official posts such as Minister, Grand Academician, and Chancellor, then the Three Dukes and Three Tutors. Finally, they break through the innate realm and advance through the Divine Powers, Nirvana, Reincarnation, Enlightenment, and Sage realms, reaching the highest realm: the Innate Sage Realm, standing alongside the innate supreme sages Confucius and Laozi.

But Wen Xiang discovers that the literary energy in this world is murky and impure. People cultivate slowly and easily stray from the right path because humanity’s innate nature is flawed. With the finest essence of Chinese civilization within him, he can purify literary energy and wield poetry, prose, and verse as blades, using the classics of the Hundred Schools as shields to forge an unprecedented sacred path of literary cultivation!

Recite the Book of Songs to repel monstrous beasts, chant Man Jiang Hong to strengthen the army’s spirit, write the Analects to suppress demons, and compose the Spring and Autumn Annals to judge reincarnation!

Watch as Wen Xiang uses his peerless literary talent to:

- Reform the literary path and strengthen humanity.

- Slay demons and monsters, putting an end to the ghostly calamities of the Dark Forest.

- Explore the Demon Abyss and uncover the truth about the world.

- Lead civilization and fight against treacherous scholars.

- Ultimately become a Sage Teacher and protect all life in the Great Primordial World!
