The Mystic Thunder Emperor

Lei Jin had his dantian ripped out by the sworn elder brother he trusted most, then was thrown into the bottomless Demon Abyss.

As he lay dying, the ancestral jade pendant transformed into the remnant soul of the Mystic Thunder Emperor: "With blood as the guide, let the soul descend into the netherworld, yet thunder never die!"

"Boy, the Mystic Clan's bloodline must not be extinguished. From this day on, I shall be your dantian."

Thunder and fire reforged his bones and sinews. From then on, mystic lightning surged in his palm, and thunderfire from the Nine Heavens blazed in his eyes. He could wipe out every evil in the world.

The sect's young prodigies treated him like dirt, only for him to strike them down with a lifted finger, scattering their souls.

The heirs of the Dao across the heavens mocked him as a crippled cultivator starting over, only to be burned to ashes by the divine thunder in his eyes.

A thousand years later, the Demon Lord of the Nine Heavens returned. As heaven and earth crumbled...

A Thunder Emperor's Dharma Body stood tall in the world: "Do you know that the wretch who tore out my dantian is now kneeling at the Demon Lord's feet?"
