Scorpio's Guardian

Starfall Qianyuan: The Scorpio Guardian

Synopsis:

He once stood at the pinnacle of the cultivation world, gazing down upon the masses under the honored title of True Lord Daoyan. To pursue the elusive “ultimate end of the Great Dao” and discover the true meaning of protection, he made a shocking decision: he severed his own Dao fruit, returned to mortal life, and left behind only a wisp of undying true spirit.

Now Ye Zheng is merely a frail youth struggling to survive in the bitterly cold Northern Wasteland. He is surrounded by harsh indifference and endless peril. Deep in his heart lie a simple determination to protect his village and a fear of the frigid power within him that he cannot understand. Fate is cruel: the only light in his life, Village Elder Liu, is on the verge of death beneath the claws of a demon wolf. At death’s door, a roar from the depths of his bloodline rips through the heavens: the Scorpio Star Soul, dormant for countless ages, awakens!

The power of ancient stars floods his body and the demon wolf is slain, but it brings an even deeper loneliness. This dual power, containing supreme protection and utter annihilation, is both curse and destiny. It grants Ye Zheng attacks that freeze life with bitter cold and an indestructible shield of starlight, but it also constantly turns against him, engraving “aloof solitude” into his soul and making ordinary people fear him. He is a king in strength, yet fated to walk the mortal world alone.

Leaving his benighted village behind, Ye Zheng bears the name “Harbinger of Disaster” and his determination to protect, embarking on a thorny path to reclaim his former proof of the Dao. He will:
