The Demon Shakes the Firmament

Introduction to The Demon Shakes the Firmament

The universe is ruled by the "Order of the Firmament." The Heavenly Dao predetermines the destinies of all living beings through the "Heavenly Tracks." Orthodox "Heaven Cultivators" regard them as sacred laws, while "Demon Cultivators," who cultivate the "Demonic Source" and defy the Heavenly Tracks, are branded heretics and hunted by heavenly punishment and Heaven Cultivators alike. In this sea of stars imprisoned by a hypocritical order, Jun Tianyue, an orphan from the borderland city of Shattered Heaven, bears a blood feud: his parents died protecting the demonic legacy, the "Azure Phoenix Fiend Art." After awakening a rare "Demon Eye," he embarks on a path to defy his fate and shake the firmament with demonic power.

Along the way, he rescues Li Jia, a young woman tortured by the Nangong family and used as a "vessel for baleful energy." The ancient demonic spider bloodline sealed within her turns out to be key to connecting with the outer-universe Evil Insect Tribe. The two are caught up in the Nangong family's plot to exterminate demons, hatched in collusion with the Evil Insect Tribe's "Bloodfang Broodmother." As they flee, they inherit the remnants of a demonic stele's legacy, the "Shattering Heaven Demon Fist," and uncover the truth: the "Heavenly Track Prophecy" is a lie fabricated by the Heavenly Dao. The supposed "depletion of the Heavenly Core in a trillion years" is nothing but a scam meant to make all living beings depend on the Heavenly Tracks and submit to being harvested.

To protect all living beings, Jun Tianyue takes the alias "Fiendshadow" and enters the Central Heavenly Domain. He joins forces with the poison doctor Mo Wuya, who nurtures baleful energy with poison; mechanical genius Luo Jiu, who turns against the world after his family is falsely accused of "colluding with demons"; and Yun Hua, a "Holy Arbiter" of the Psionic Church who goes from enemy to ally. Together, they form the "Firmament-Shaking Army." They expose the Evernight Cult's ambition to awaken the Demon Ancestor's lingering soul through the "sacrifice of all people" and fight back when the heavenly tribulation erupts. The Evernight Cult Master merges with the Demon Ancestor's lingering soul to become a "Fiend Demon," then joins forces with Bloodfang, queen of the Evil Insect Tribe, to invade. They shatter the old order with the "Demon Tribulation Cannon" and tear open a rift in the Heavenly Tracks with the "Shattering Heaven Demon Fist."

In the end, Jun Tianyue uses the Demon Ancestor's bloodline as a catalyst and joins forces with all sides to activate the
