The Fingerprint Locked in the Closet

While sorting through the closet in her rental apartment, Shen Zhixia discovers a fingerprint that isn't hers hidden at the back, with half a faded scrap of blue cloth stuck beside it. Trying to trace the fingerprint leads her unexpectedly to Su Yan, a former forensic examiner who once worked on her mother's disappearance case. Following the fingerprint, the two dig deeper and discover that it is connected both to an unsolved case Su Yan handled three years ago and to Shen Zhixia's mother's disappearance. Strange noises in the old building, evasive glances from the neighbors, and unfamiliar traces that keep appearing in the closet draw them into a secret that has been years in the making. The closet seems to be a key connecting past and present, with every grain of wood concealing a truth yet to be uncovered.
