The Underworld's Mortal Judge

Meng Zhifan, a guardian of a cemetery who watches over a corner of the mortal realm, discovers by chance that the dead are not peacefully entering the underworld. Instead, they are mysteriously disappearing midway through reincarnation. At the same time, Xie Wugou, an elite underworld marshal, arrives in the mortal realm to investigate the “Vanishing Souls Case.” The two meet during an outbreak of vengeful spirits. From mutual suspicion to an uneasy alliance, they embark on a suspenseful hunt for the truth that will sweep across all three realms. As their investigation deepens, they uncover a shocking conspiracy: the collapse of the reincarnation System is no accident. A hidden hand is stealing souls in an attempt to overturn the order of life and death. The bloodline of cemetery guardians that Meng Zhifan inherited also conceals an ancient secret about protecting the laws of reincarnation. She is no mere bystander; she is at the heart of this catastrophe. Without a golden finger, she must rely on her extraordinary insight and courage, facing the peril in mortal form. Together with Xie Wugou, she will cut through the layers of deception between the Heavenly Court and the underworld, expose the culprit, and restore the cycle of reincarnation.
