The Apocalypse? First, Let Me Stockpile Ten Tons of Spicy Snacks!

A meteor crashing into Earth? Zombies besieging a city? Interdimensional rifts? NO, NO, NO! In this absurd apocalypse novel, the end of the world begins when “instant noodle rain” suddenly pours down across the globe, tap water turns into sugary soda, pigs, cows, and sheep evolve into “bad-tempered beasts” who perform stand-up comedy, and even the virus mutates into a bizarre strain that only infects people who don't like cilantro!

The good-for-nothing young man Wang Dachui awakens a golden finger that lets him conjure supermarket shelves anywhere he wants. So while everyone else risks their lives fighting monsters and stockpiling supplies, he opens a “mobile hot pot restaurant” in the apocalypse and cooks mutated crayfish. He drives off mind-polluting beasts with the square-dance anthem “The Most Dazzling Ethnic Style,” and even holds “garbage-sorting training classes” for zombies...

While the whole world is seriously trying to survive the apocalypse, Wang Dachui just wants to shout, “Wait a minute! Let me stockpile ten tons of spicy strips first, or I won't have the strength to roast the monsters!” This is a “screw-it survival” story that uses comedy to deconstruct the apocalypse and absurdity to fight despair. The plot goes completely off the rails, with so many jokes you'll start questioning your own sanity. After all, in the apocalypse, if you take things seriously, you've already lost!
