The Last Forgotten One

In a cyberpunk city where memories can be backed up, traded, or even stolen, promising neuroscientist Ling Yuan has fallen into the role of a “memory cleaner,” specializing in the dirty, chaotic digital recollections others have discarded. His only emotional anchor is the final beautiful memory left behind by his younger sister, which he relives every day.

When a mysterious force erases this precious memory, his world comes crashing down.

To recover his stolen past, Ling Yuan is forced into the bizarre black market for memories, where he makes a dangerous deal with “Phantom,” an information broker as alluring as she is deadly. Each step deeper brings him closer to the truth, and closer to the abyss. He discovers that his sister's death was no accident: it is closely tied to “Project Deity,” an initiative by the world-controlling tech giant Eternal Heart that will overturn the very nature of human existence.

When personal obsession becomes entangled with the fate of all humanity, and the memories he cherished become the most terrifying of weapons, Ling Yuan must choose: reclaim his sweet memories and sink into false happiness, or embrace the cruel truth and fight for freedom in a cold, unforgiving reality?

This is a story about love, loss, and redemption. In the abyss of memory, who are you, really?
