Bound by the Mortal World: Echoes of the Abyss

In a world powered by “soul energy,” a plague known as “Withering” is causing countless people’s minds to fracture. Kyle, a “fixer” burdened by a dark past, wants only to find peace in the city’s shadows and atone for his sins. But when a colossal disaster strikes, a young recorder searching for the truth enters his life and thrusts him back into fate’s vortex.

Forced to flee together, they are pursued by a mysterious cult called the “Silent Loom.” The cult claims it will end all suffering through a “perfect” unified consciousness. Ahead lies the place Kyle least wants to face: the ruins where all his sins are buried.

Should he give in to the temptation of a world without pain, or defend a flawed yet precious freedom? When the predator’s hand closes around him once more, will it be for destruction or redemption? This is a story of sin and punishment, memory and forgetting. Bound by the shackles of the mortal world, he will confront the echoes rising from the abyss of his soul.
