Floating River: Code Zero

In the megacity of Fuchuan, memories are commodities that can be extracted, traded, and consumed. The city’s elite indulge in buying other people’s life experiences, seeking a kind of spiritual immortality. The poor, meanwhile, are forced to sell their precious memories just to earn the right to scrape by.

Ling Ye is a memory repair technician living in the city’s lower-level Abyss District. He has long since grown accustomed to its twisted rules of survival. He repairs broken memories and mends his own numb heart. Then one day, among discarded memory data, he discovers a mysterious girl called Zero. Her memory is a perfect blank, yet it draws the most frenzied pursuit from Eternal Life Technologies, the rulers of the city.

A desperate flight for survival begins. From the sunless streets of the Abyss District to the chaotic, lawless mechanical relay levels, and then to the towering headquarters of Eternal Life Technologies, Ling Ye is forced to fight everything he despises, all to protect a girl who has nothing.

When Zero’s true identity is revealed, that she is a living key capable of formatting the entire city’s memory network, Ling Ye finds himself at the crossroads between destruction and rebirth. He faces not only merciless enemies and ruthless technology, but also the ultimate questions of humanity, truth, and the meaning of existence.

In the abyss of memory, can he find the answer that belongs to him?
