Transmigrated into the Primordial World as Hou Yi, I Shot Donghuang Taiyi to Pieces

Xiao Yi, a modern college student, dies by electrocution. When he opens his eyes, he has become Hou Yi, who has just shot down nine suns.

With the Sun-Shooting Bow on his shoulder and the primordial purple qi left behind by Nuwa tucked close, he has Chang'e, her eyes brimming with tears, standing by his side. This start may seem absurd, but it hides a deadly crisis: Donghuang Taiyi is on a rampage with the demon race, a Golden Immortal of the Chan Sect stabs him in the back, and even the ancient primordial monster Kunpeng has his life in its sights.

“Hou Yi? Who's that?” Xiao Yi tears off his bloodstained animal-skin skirt and draws the divine bow to full strength using modern mechanics. “From today on, my arrows will be aimed straight at every demon and monster out there!”

He blows up the Chaos Bell, kicks down Yuxu Palace, and even dares to pull out one of Kunpeng's reverse scales. Donghuang Taiyi sneers and leads a million troops into battle? Xiao Yi teaches humanity to dig trenches and build catapults, then hits back with a textbook-perfect counterattack.

Chang'e, eyes red, hands him the primordial qi. “Husband, this can help you attain the Dao and become one with the primordial...”

Xiao Yi pins an attacking demon general to the ground with an arrow, wraps an arm around her waist, and smiles. “Why bother cultivating the Dao? Protecting you and humanity is a lot more fun than becoming an immortal!”

When a modern soul collides with the laws of the primordial world, watch as this “imposter Hou Yi” uses science to humiliate the gods of every realm, shoots Donghuang Taiyi full of holes, and carves out a different path to humanity's rise amid mountains of corpses and seas of blood!
