You’re Not My Mother

[Supernatural + Modern City + Big Ideas + Mutation] My Wife Mutated, and I Discovered the Truth

My wife returned from a three-month business trip, and my daughter suddenly hid behind me, trembling.

My wife crouched down and reached out gently. “Miaomiao, come give Mommy a hug.”

My daughter screamed and backed away. “You're not my mom!”

I found an unfamiliar boarding pass in my wife's suitcase, and photos of toys my daughter had never seen saved on her phone.

Late at night, I heard chewing from the kitchen and pushed open the door with a flashlight in hand.

Blood dripped from my wife's lips as she devoured the hamster I'd given our daughter.

She looked up at me and smiled. “Honey, this hamster is very fresh.”

In horror, I realized she was holding our sleeping daughter in her arms.

“Now,” she said, wiping the blood from her lips, “Mommy will never leave you again.”
