Record of Ashes Extinguishing the Nine Heavens

Synopsis of Ashen End of the Nine Heavens:

Above the Nine Heavens once lay a divine realm where immortals and gods looked down upon all living things. But after the "War of Annihilation," which swept across countless worlds, it was reduced to a wasteland. Legend has it that only by gathering the "Primordial Fragments" scattered across the ruins of the Nine Realms can the order of heaven and earth be restored. The fragments are guarded by ancient beings who survived the war, or by mutated monsters.

Ling Chen was an orphan from a remote border town. After an accident, he awakened the "Power of Ashen Annihilation" slumbering within him, a bloodline left behind by the Creator God who died in the war. This power lets him devour the spiritual energy of all things, but it also turns against him, gradually reducing him to ashes. To master his power and uncover the mystery of his origins, he sets out on a journey through the ruins of the Nine Realms.

Along the way, he meets a holy maiden of the fox clan burdened by her family's blood feud, a fallen angel sealed away for tens of thousands of years, and a mad cultivator who holds a fragment and seeks to overturn the rules. Every struggle for a fragment brings with it an ultimate reckoning over "order" and "chaos." As Ling Chen draws closer to the truth, he discovers that the supposed "restoration of heaven and earth" is nothing but a deception devised by ancient gods to prolong their existence, and his bloodline is the key to ending it all.

Will he become the hero who saves the world, or tear apart the false order with his own hands, allowing all things to be reborn after annihilation? Every step Ling Chen takes rewrites the fate of all beings beneath the Nine Heavens.
