Neon Blades and Swords, a Hero

In Linjiang City in 2024, history graduate student Lin Ye appears ordinary, but he is the sole heir to the Qingfeng Sect. Ten years ago, a traitor from the Dark River Sect, Qin Mo, CEO of Genesis Group, wiped out his sect. Lin Ye concealed himself in the city with his master's belongings, but a fragment of a sword manual draws him into Qin Mo's "Inner Breath Algorithm" conspiracy. Qin plans to extract the inner breath of martial arts and implant it in AI to create super soldiers, endangering both the martial world and ordinary people.

To stop the plot, Lin Ye teams up with Su Qing, a conscientious researcher at Genesis Group; Zhao Lie of the Iron Fist Sect, who remains true to tradition; and Chen Jiu of the Thousand Mechanisms Sect, an expert in technology and mechanical arts. Together, they fight Qin Mo. In the modern city, they combine martial arts with technology, contend on the virtual ancient battlefield of "Domain Combat," and grasp the "Neon Sword Intent" amid the traffic and lights. They also break down the barriers between the martial world and ordinary society, earning the public's trust.

In the end, Lin Ye leads the various martial arts schools in a decisive battle against Qin Mo's army of modified humans at the Linjiang City docks. Using new martial arts that blend in elements of city life, they shatter the conspiracy and redefine the heart of "contemporary wuxia": a hero does not need to live in the mountains or forests, but can protect the peace of every corner of the city.
