Insectoid Invasion! Is the Campus Belle Really My Subordinate?

When Su Weiwei, the pure and beautiful campus belle who is every boy at school’s dream girl, hooks her arm around mine and tells me about the class trip she meticulously planned, only I know that this trip is a slaughterhouse prepared for the entire class! My name is Lin Mo, and I'm an utterly ordinary bookworm. During a terrifying night on the subway over summer vacation, I accidentally saw the truth of the world: the insect race is lurking among us, and the campus belle is an apex predator wearing human skin! Even more absurdly, she seems to think I'm an even more deeply concealed big shot from the insect race? To stay alive, I have no choice but to play along. On the surface, I coolly critique her "hunting plan" and complain about the quality of the "sacrifices". In private, with cold sweat soaking my back, I frantically work out how to save everyone from the insects. As I watch her smile sweetly and announce, "Tonight's main course is very fresh," and listen to my classmates look forward to the "bonfire party," I clutch the "death list" in my pocket. Being a big shot is hard, especially when your "subordinates" might discover at any moment that you're a fake, then gobble you right up... This summer, terror lurks in every sweet word, and life or death hangs on each inscrutable bluff. Watch as I, the only one who's still sane, pretend to be a big shot and fight for survival at the insect nest's feast! And amid the slaughter, he discovers that he is the only predator who hunts insects! What am I, exactly? A hero? Or something even more deeply hidden...
