The Heavenly Green Satchel Record

The Green Pouch: A Record of Heaven’s Mandate

Lin Shen is a 25-year-old delivery rider, the most ordinary of the city’s “midnight knights.” His delivery box holds spicy hot pot, and a jade pendant passed down through his family hangs at his chest. Then one night, after working overtime until the early hours, the pendant suddenly cracks, revealing blood-red patterns that burn his palm.

“The Shennong legacy awakens to meet the calamity.”

Ancient characters appear on the ground. He kicks open the door of his rented room and stumbles into a hellscape of scorched earth: hills of rotting corpses belch poisonous fog, the bone spears of skeletal knights pierce the night, and even the air reeks with a sickly sweetness that eats into the bones.

After all, the medical arts that keep ordinary people alive are the deadliest weapon of all.

But one problem after another soon comes his way.

The plague’s high priest emerges from the black miasma, sneering as he brandishes a poisoned blade. “Medicine Saint? You’re just a delivery boy!”

The Heavenly Dao is weak, and 360 great worlds teeter on the brink of collapse. The Supreme Shennong has been in seclusion for countless eons, leaving behind only the words, “Save the world as fate allows.” Worse still, Su Wanqing, the female doctor who keeps showing up with her copy of The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon to “sit in on his lessons,” jabs a syringe into his arm. “We agreed to work together to cure the plague, but you...”
