The Neon Tailor Shop

Neon Tailor Shop, a century-old qipao boutique, is on the brink of closure under pressure from modern fast fashion. Its owner, Zhang Wei, a cultural relic restorer, suddenly receives an order in the style of the Republican era: a custom qipao with "Twin Swallows Returning to Their Nest" frog closures. After accepting, she discovers that the client is her former boss, Lin Shen, disguised with an AI face swap. To protect her family's qipao-making secrets, passed down through three generations, and investigate the livestream tipping scam ring behind Lin Shen, Zhang Wei joins forces with Su Xiaoman, a livestream influencer Lin Shen deceived, and Chen Mo, a cultural relic restorer who knows Republican-era clothing. Together, they take on antiques dealers and influencer agencies. In the end, she uses the "frog-closure codebook" left by her grandmother to exploit a flaw in the AI face-swap algorithm. She not only saves the tailor shop but also brings traditional frog-closure craftsmanship to fame through livestreaming, finding her own sense of self along the way.
