The Secret Files of Celadon

While restoring the Ming dynasty's “Yongle Sweet White Glaze Vase with Incised Dragon Design,” antique restorer Shen Mo discovers fragments of secret files hidden inside. They belonged to the Qingci Society, a women's merchant guild from the Republican era, and reveal a century-old family history that was erased from the record. Her great-grandmother Su Wan, head of the Qingci Society, refused to work with Hengchang Trading in smuggling antiquities. She was framed for “stockpiling weapons,” bringing about the guild's downfall. To uncover the truth, Shen Mo has no choice but to work with Gu Zhao, the young master of the rival Zhaohua Auction House. The two gradually develop feelings for each other, but when they piece together the secret files, they discover they are cousins. As the investigation deepens, Zhou Mingyuan, the present-day heir to Hengchang Trading and mastermind behind a contemporary antiquities-smuggling ring, emerges. He has not only continued his ancestors' smuggling business, but is also trying to destroy the Qingci Society's evidence of their crimes. Using her ability to sense the history of antiquities, Shen Mo gradually uncovers Su Wan's hidden identity as an underground Communist Party member. In the end, she clears her family's name and helps revive the Qingci Society's traditional crafts as a modern cultural trend. When it comes to matters of the heart, she chooses to stand with Gu Zhao and uphold their shared duty to protect cultural relics.
