The Inkstone Chronicles: Lessons From an Elder Brother

Lin Zhao moves into the Shen family home under the care of her mother's old friend, Shen Li. Shen Yan goes from watching her coldly from the sidelines to taking her places, helping her study, and standing up for her. As they share moments at school basketball games, evening study sessions, and hospital bedside vigils, he gradually reveals his feelings. Meanwhile, the slow-to-warm, aloof Lin Zhao begins to discover the secrets of her heart through milk tea deliveries, a notebook of corrected mistakes, and sharing an umbrella in the rain. The two face teasing from classmates, parents catching on, and a storm of public opinion. In the end, they break through the barrier of being “siblings” and choose each other during graduation season, writing a youthful love story that goes from school uniforms to wedding dresses.
