The Boundless Sea in the Void

When I awoke in the ruins of the Divine Lord Tower, I was a remnant soul inhabiting a mortal body. My younger sister, Lin Xiaoling, gave her life to help me escape, forcing me onto the path of conquering the Boundless Sea. Break the curse, seize supreme treasures, gather the Five-Color Dao Seeds: I will return as the True Lord of the Void, sworn to cut down every enemy.

Then, on the day of the final battle, the mastermind, Elder Tianji, hung my loved ones on a rack of torture. Beside him stood Wutian, my twin brother, identical in appearance to me: the one who had once betrayed me and now meant to fight me to the death, my dark doppelganger.

“Big brother,” he whispered as I burned my soul and plunged into hell, “this time, let me protect you.”

When Wutian became fragments of the Ruins and sank into my palm, and a resonance spanning dimensions rang out at the edge of the starry sky, I finally understood: the end of this struggle between light and darkness was the beginning of all things being reborn.
